Dream I

Nowadays I have began to see strange dreams about Eritrea. Allow me to tell you one: Yesterday I shot a gun and missed President Isaias in a public meeting. I felt I missed him wide. I used an old semi automatic Simonov gun. The gun was without a magazine. After the gun shot I saw the President surrounded by his bodyguards run away swiftly. The friend who sat beside me was shocked and started to tremble and complain. At the same time the area was surrounded by the military and all areas of exit blocked. I started to run and tried to shoot at the military men who came towards me, unfortunately my Simonov had no bullet. In consequence I was apprehended by the security personnel. And I desperately tried to hide my real motive by giving them an excuse that I jumped the gun. However I had been told whether I intentionally shot or I jumped the gun, the least I should expect would be a long time in prison. And I woke up. It looked real and it was scary.

I hope you may find kindness in your heart to interpret my dream spiritually. If so God might be telling us to walk uprightly and to seriously engage in prayer against forces of darkness which have held captive our beloved nation for long. This war couldn't be won carelessly. The way I and some of you walk might lack to give us that decisive victory.

However if you insist to interpret it physically, which I strongly discourage, if somebody tried to assassinate the President, you must know that I had nothing to do with it. Or as a very wise beloved brother has just suggested I might be deeply angry with the President and frustrated on what's happening to our people and subconsciously planning this failed assassination attempt. In this case it's all a thought.

Finally let's pray for one another based on these verses,

"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace." - Ephesians 6:11-17
