Unity of the Church

"I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one--as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me." - John 17:21

I also heard the LORD Almighty loud and clear saying, "You have only one Master and you are all brothers." Concerning the things of God nobody has a right to say I have a better understanding so you should pursue my teaching. We have one Rabbi and that's Jesus. He is the Master we should all follow. We can only be his mouthpiece and echo nothing else.

It's a very sad scenario to see a disintegrated body crawling in every direction. And ironically each part thinks it's moving in the right way. However the reality is no part by itself can be whole. In fact realizing a difference should be a motive for unity. No one could win a war separately against a unified enemy. And there is no glory in defeat. We must build unity around a common purpose for the glory of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. And this requires two great virtues of servanthood, namely, humility and sacrifice.
